Hiking Boots and Paint Brushes
I have been inspired by the natural world for as long as I can remember. As a kid I spent my days stomping around in the woods, catching frogs in mud puddles, and drawing everything I came across. My family (although not exactly enthused by me playing with snakes) supported my love for wildlife art through enrollment in various nature camps and art classes. I graduated from MICA in 2015 and have been working as an artist ever since. I always strive not only to draw the animal, but convey their character and personality as best I can. My artwork today still carries themes of the natural world, including the enjoyment of all the odd and special little creatures in this world.
