Each one of these isopod marbles have been handmade by yours, truly. I first sculpt the original out of Castilene, make a detailed mold of the piece, melt down lead-free pewter, and cast each one in-house. Seeing as each one is handmade, there will be slight variation in appearance between them.
These sculptures were modeled after the isopod species Armadillidium vulgare.
